Reputable references and experiments with a method that can be understood and challenged.

Forums and Reddit help surface real problems, but are not primary authority for temperatures or safety limits.

Product-specific guidance beats generic rules
When an exact product has official drying, storage or handling guidance, that guidance takes priority over a generic material table. If reliable sources conflict, FilamentFix aims to show the disagreement rather than hide it behind an invented average.
Symptoms are clues, not verdicts
Stringing, popping, brittleness, bubbles and rough extrusion can have multiple causes. Troubleshooting content separates observations from conclusions and encourages controlled tests that change one variable at a time.
AI-assisted drafting
AI may assist with organization, drafting or editing. It is not treated as a technical source and specific factual values should have a traceable source before being presented as verified.
Original tests
When FilamentFix publishes original experiments, photos or measured data, the method and important limitations will be described.
Corrections and updates
If a technical claim is wrong, outdated or insufficiently sourced, the goal is to correct or qualify it rather than preserve the original wording. Important source checks may include a visible verification date.
Commercial independence
Future advertising or affiliate relationships will not replace manufacturer documentation or change the evidence standard for technical claims. Commercial relationships will be disclosed separately.
