PLA REPORT

PLA: forgiving, but still worth diagnosing properly.

PLA is generally less moisture-sensitive than highly hygroscopic materials, but moisture can still matter. Use several clues rather than assuming every string or brittle section means the spool is wet.

PETG REPORT

PETG: moisture and tuning can look surprisingly similar.
